Scheduled finally!

I have finally done something I should have done a long time ago! I have now planned my YouTube videos for the month of March! Not recorded, but planned. It feels so good!!

So my calendar (which is shared between my phone and my computer) is now filled with the video titles, so I have a clear view of what I need to record, and what dates the videos need to go up!

New schedule until further notice is: Wednesdays and Saturdays!

Suggestions are always welcome of course, hook me up here or on Twitter/Instagram.

Fyrinnae swatches!

I have got some gorgeous swatches for you today. My recent haul from Fyrinnae got here this last week and I have really enjoyed playing around with these pigments.

I chose five fairly neutral shadows (well.. at least in the neutral range in my opinion) and here are the swatches! The "group swatch" is swatched dry but on foundation. All the single swatches are swatched dry without primer or foundation on the skin.

First out is Purgatory. A stunning metallic red in a black base. This can be used alone or as a topper.

Brought back older posts!

Hey!

Happy Sunday!

I decided to bring back my old posts, I actually did not delete them earlier, I just set them in "draft" status so it was quite an easy task..

I still have not decided on the header and the breakdown of topics, but I'm working on it. I still want to keep it as clean as possible with as few main sections as possible.

Everyday Mini Foot Spa

My feet are terribly dry and I do pamper them once a week or so with a foot bath. It makes all the difference!

But I like to do a little something on an everyday basis as well, to keep them in shape inbetween foot baths!

These are the products I currently use for my everyday Mini Foot Spa routine:

Both products are from The Body Shop. The jar to the left is their peppermint foot scrub and the pump bottle to the right is their Lotus flower body puree.

The scrub truly smells like peppermint and it is super refreshing to use on the feet. The scrub particles in it are big enough to actually do some good, but they are not too hard and coarse which enables me to use this on a daily basis during the winter!
The body puree is quite light in texture but it is moisturizing enough as long as I pop my feet into a pair of socks right after I've moisturized them!

Once I run out of the body puree (or perhaps even before I run out..) I will probably try something different. This was given to me as a gift but it is unfortunately not my favourite scent family.. it is not "just" floral, it has a weird "bi scent" that I can't pinpoint. I will most likely try their Peppermint Foot Rescue instead!

Are your feet extra difficult during the winter? What do you do to help the dryness?

-417 Cleansing Gel is Havoc for dry skin!

If you saw my Christmas Glossybox video you will know that I initially was very excited and happy about the -417 Cleansing Gel. It worked GREAT for the first week or so. Removed makeup, cleansed the skin leaving it feeling really clean, no dryness!

Well. As you probably know, and as I SURELY KNOW, one or two weeks is not enough to form a proper opinion on a skin care item. Well.. I got carried away by my initial impression and ignored all signs of problems. They were there, but I ignored them..

So, now I sit here with a face in total havoc! Red inflamed pimples, whiteheads and other unidentifiable bumps and an uneven skin tone.. I took this picture just a few moments ago:

My skin is now dehydrated (the pores are looking "excausted"), acne inflamed and full of bumps. I know for a fact that it is the cleansing gel that caused this because it is the only thing I have changed in my skin care routine. Also, my skin rarely reacts like this to products.

It will take a few weeks for this to settle down. It sucks but oh well. I only have myself to blame!

The product is geared towards "all skin types" but I can assure you that if you have dry skin you need to stay away from this one!
